Anyone can fake almost anything now

Convincing photos of events that never happened, video of people saying things they never said, and a copy of someone's voice built from a few seconds of audio — from a video they posted, or a voicemail. These tools are cheap, fast and often free. That's not a reason to panic; it's a reason to change how you decide what's real.
