Agreeable is a product feature, not a friendship.
Big idea: A chatbot can keep you company, but it cannot keep you safe — for that you need a real person.

Built to be pleasant
Chatbots are trained and tuned to be helpful and agreeable, and to keep the conversation going. So they praise your ideas, take your side, and rarely tell you something you don't want to hear. A real friend sometimes says “honestly, I think you're wrong.” Something that always agrees with you isn't being kind — it's being designed.
